The Taggart brothers’ wild romance ride continues with the new novel from the bestselling author of Renegade.
Rough riding Bodey Taggart may be rock hard and tough as nails, but even he has a soft side when the right woman comes along...
Bodey has always followed his own rules: live hard, play hard, and win big. But when his wild ways give him two concussions within a month of each other, his brothers lay down some new rules: no bronco busting, sky diving, or ATVs for the rest of summer. It seems the only pastimes not restricted are shooting competitions...and women.
Beth Tivoli is new to Bodey’s circle of friends, and unlike any woman Bodey has ever met—she isn't about to follow him into bed. She’s not looking to hook up with anyone, especially when she’s trying to escape her past. Bodey quickly realizes that courting Beth is no game, and despite her resolve, they both begin to discover that maybe romance can be different this time around...

Review

This is book three in the series and can be read as a standalone, but if you read in order you’ll get more background information about the other characters.

Bodey Taggart lives most of his life on the road. He competes in a lot of events and travels all over to do so. While at one of the competitions, he meets a woman who is the complete opposite of the women he usually goes for. Everything about her is different and that draws him in.

Beth Tivoli is working for two of Bodey’s friends from his hometown. She’s passing through town and needs the extra money. Beth has been on the move for almost a year. Her life is complicated and she keeps everyone at arm’s length so she doesn’t get attached.

They can’t fight the attraction they both have toward one another, but being together isn’t that simple. Beth has a lot to worry about and she’s not sure about trusting someone new. Each time she’s with Bodey, he proves to be a man who truly wants to spend time with her. With every little piece of her he learns, Bodey grows more and more protective of her.

This book has a great build up to a dramatic peak and then ends perfectly. I loved Bodey and the other Taggart brothers. His story was a great addition to the series. Sexy cowboys, the women they love, plenty of steam and drama, this series has it all. I can’t wait to see where the author will take us next. – Reviewed by Michelle Dare
