The New York Times bestselling author who brought you Glow, Glimmer, and The Affair is back with a new novel that will have you leaving the curtains open. Are you just going to stand there and watch?  Eleanor Briggs just can’t help herself. Every night, the sight of the man in the high-rise across the street is driving her wild. She longs to feel his touch up close and personal. To win him over, she’ll need to shake off her wallflower sensibilities and become the seductress she never imagined she could be. The only trouble will be finding the perfect way to meet him… Or are you going to join in?  Sex is easy for millionaire entrepreneur Trey Riordan. Finding something of substance, however, seems impossible. That is until a simple night of reading at a local coffee shop becomes something far steamier when a beautiful brunette comes by and leaves a note telling him to look out his bedroom window at midnight. But when the time comes, neither of them will be truly ready for what follows…

Review

I’m a huge Beth Kery fan. When I saw she had a new book coming out soon, I couldn’t wait to read it.

Eleanor Briggs is someone who doesn’t lead an overly exciting life. She’s a librarian and doesn’t think she’s nearly interesting enough to catch the eye of the sexy man living in the building across from her sister. You see, she’s seen him. I mean, seen him have a lot of fun with various different women. She wonders what it would be like to be one of them. To have his hands all over her.

Trey Riordan is smart, sexy, and always honest. When he goes to a reading group, he can’t help but put his book down and focus on the beauty sitting across from him. One encounter and he’s hooked. Even though he’s sworn off women for the time being, he needs to know more about her.

Together, Trey and Eleanor make an unlikely couple, but a perfect one. Life isn’t always easy, though. There are things Trey doesn’t know about her, and she’s worried how he will react when he eventually finds out.

I loved this book. The chemistry, the steaminess, it was all great. The way Trey was once he had Eleanor in his sights, I couldn’t get enough of him. The author has a way of giving you just enough detail without overdoing it, and making you feel like you’re in the story, feeling the emotions of the characters. If you’re a fan of Beth Kery like I am, definitely grab this one. You won’t be disappointed. This is a standalone romance. – Reviewed by Michelle Dare
