New York Times bestselling author Lynn Kurland presents a sweeping romance in which true love can go beyond time...
Imogen Maxwell is on a hunt for rare, antique items to use on a period movie set. The last thing she expects to discover in the peaceful Scottish countryside is a pristine medieval sword . . . or to suddenly find herself facing its very vintage owner in a far too authentic castle.
Phillip de Piaget has run out of patience with his recalcitrant Scottish betrothed and is determined that she will join him, once and for all, in front of the altar. Only the lass he captures fleeing his would-be keep seems more interested in running away from him than talking to him. In fact, she seems to have no idea who he is.
But taming his reluctant bride is the least of his worries; it seems someone else wants him at the chapel . . . in a stone box. As for Imogen, how can he let her go, when she holds the key to not only the castle, but his heart?

Review

Imogen Maxwell has finally arrived in Edinburgh after a long journey. She’s basically dead on her feet, but on her way she see a castle that sends a sense of déjà vu towards her. Later that say she ventures out towards the castle that tends to be calling her, but when she enters, Imogen is greeted by Heather who poses as the owner of the castle and invites Imogen back for a full tour. Little did she know that her life was about to be altered…to the past.

Phillip de Piaget is finally going to be able to college his wayward bride after much negotiation with Robert of Haemesburgh for his beautiful daughter Heather, little does her know she has other plans and being his wife isn’t one of them. As he arrives to Haemesburghs castle he ends saving a mysterious woman who has somehow appeared while Heather has disappeared.

Secrets are revealed.
Minds are..blown
And the future and past may just collide.

“Stars In Your Eyes” is certainly a unique historical tale being told through the eyes of modern area traveling into the past. Imogen is an interesting character because when she’s in the past she’s fiery and adventurous, but when she’s in the modern time frame and with her family she tends to loose all her oomph. Phillip is silent, but strong where everyone heeds his words as if they are worship him. I guess that makes sense in a way considering that it is a lord. Though he can tends to be a bit gruff. Though when these two get together you can see that they bring out the best in each other. Imogen certainly grows throughout the story and tends to be a bit calmer when she’s around Phillip and while he’s around her he tends to be softer and less of a brute.

As much as it was fun to watch the interactions of them in the past I found it rather fascinating when Phillip followers he back to the present day. Getting to seem them both out of their element, but using the resources around them was intreating and enlightening. Makes me wish that I could go into the past and have my own experience.

I recommend for those that like time-travel stories.
