A SEDUCTION STRONGER THAN STONE

The only male among four sisters, Michael Drummond is no stranger to women’s strength and formidable will. His Dublin pub, the Skin & Bones, is his refuge, a reassuringly masculine retreat. Until a fierce woman warrior from another realm bursts into his life, bringing with her a battle between good and evil…and an explosive dose of desire.
The first and only of her kind, Ash is a lone female gargoyle, a creature destined to protect mankind from Demons determined to unleash their darkest forces. But her arrival on Earth is more confusing than she expected: her bone-deep instinct to do battle is matched only by her untamed attraction to stubborn, stalwart Drum. If they manage to keep the world safe, can they turn the passion crackling between them into a love that will withstand the test of time?

Review

Hard to Handle is the fifth installment of the Gargoyles series by Christine Warren.

Ash is the only gargoyle female and her destiny is to protect mankind from Demons who are determined to unleash the darkest evil mankind have ever seen. She was supposed to be greeted by a Warden, but instead meets Maeve, a woman who sees the future and her brother Michael who can find lost things. As these three journey together, new forces a rise and untamed attraction crackles.

Will Ash succeed in her destiny or will the battle be too much for this warrior?

Wow. The Gargoyles series just keeps getting better and better. Once again, Christine Warren has created a captivating story that’s filled with action, banter and sizzling chemistry. Ash is certainly a warrior on a mission, but even at crucial times, she’ll need to take a breath before surging forward. Micheal is a great guy. I instantly loved him. He’s still an alpha male, but I love he was more of a side-kick than the ‘hero’ so to speak.

If you love action, romance and stone gargoyles who are here to save mankind then I would highly suggest reading the Gargoyles series! – Reviewed by Julianne Knutson

In this unforgettable novel for fans of One Day and The Time Traveler’s Wife, a young Isaac Newton falls in love with a girl living in modern-day San Francisco, defying the laws of physics to forge a seemingly impossible connection.  Andrea Louviere is seven years old the first time he appears. While she’s alone in her bedroom, practicing her beloved cello, the light shivers and a crack forms in the wall. Through the crack, she sees a candle, a window, a desk—and a boy. Though no sound travels through the wall, the boy clearly sees Andrea, too. And then, just as quickly as it opened, the crack closes, and he vanishes.   Over the years, summoning the bright, magnetic boy becomes something of an obsession for Andrea. Then, on her seventeenth birthday, she receives a three-hundred-year-old love letter from Isaac Newton. Andrea knows that Isaac will change the world with his groundbreaking discoveries; the letter tells Andrea that she will change him.   As Isaac’s letters intensify in passion and intimacy, Andrea grows determined to follow his clues to their shared destiny—despite a burgeoning romance in the present. Only when she discovers the way into Isaac’s time does Andrea realize that she faces a heartbreaking decision: between what was . . . and what might be.  Praise for Samantha Sotto’s Before Ever After  “I was floored by the gutsy scope of this highly unusual love story. Before Ever After is one of those books that challenges the natural laws of fiction writing, and Samantha Sotto pulls it off in a frisky and highly entertaining way.”—Anne Fortier, New York Times bestselling author of Juliet   “I was absolutely enchanted by Before Ever After. It’s a highly original and engaging mix of romance, mystery, and magic that will challenge everything you think you know about happily ever after.”—Jill Smolinski, author of Objects of My Affection   “A smartly written romance, mystery, and historical adventure all wrapped up in a page-turner that will have you guessing until the very end.”—Adena Halpern, author of The Ten Best Days of My Life   “Exquisitely written and inventively told, Before Ever After is a beautiful, moving—and quite fun—exploration of what you think you know about your own life.”—Melissa Senate, author of The Love Goddess’ Cooking School

Review

Love and Gravity is a standalone by Samantha Sotto.

I don’t even know where to begin. Love and Gravity was an amazing and magical read. After reading the synopsis, I knew that I would fall in love with Andrea and Isaac. And I was right. Samantha Sotto did a fantastic job not only constructing this beautiful story, but giving two perspectives. I really love the unique angle she brings to life between the two characters. To understand, you’ll just have to experience the story yourself.

I highly recommend for those who love adventure. If you’ve read The Time Traveler’s Wife, then you might enjoy Love and Gravity– Reviewed by Julianne Knutson

Blog Tour: The Pine Forest by Michelle Dare

One touch, one spark, two lives forever changed.

Pine and Azure. The war between the two kingdoms lasted far too long. Peace was finally established, but the survivors would never forget who fought on the front lines. Oliver Sage had a reputation for being a ruthless knight. He’d seen enough death to last a lifetime and worked on putting the past behind him, although not all would let him forget.

Addison was the only daughter of King and Queen Azure. With three brothers, she knew she’d always be protected, but she also wanted to learn how to take care of herself. She was strong, had a good heart, and wanted to be treated as an equal. Magical abilities ran in her family, and she had one no one knew of.

Oliver had given his heart to one princess, until the night he dreamed of another. Addison was the last woman he should desire, especially given who she was. However, what if she wanted him as well? They’d hated each other their entire lives, but suddenly couldn’t resist the desire which built between them. There were also those who didn’t think they should be together. Forbidden romance could only stay hidden for so long in the dark depths of the Pine Forest.
