EVERYTHING’S HOTTER IN TEXAS
When Marine Force Recon captain Cullen Loughman learns that his father’s been kidnapped, he will do whatever it takes to find him. In order to achieve his mission, Cullen will need to team up with the best of the best—someone who just happens to be the most stunning woman he’s ever laid eyes on…
This isn’t the first rodeo for ex—Air Force pilot Mia Carter. Still, Cullen’s bad-boy good looks and charm are distracting her from duty. . .and it appears that the feeling is mutual. As Mia and Cullen make their descent into a dark, dangerous world, their attraction reaches the boiling point. But is their desire worth the risk when a ruthless enemy is waiting in the wings—or will their Lone Star love conquer all?

This is book 2 in the Sons of Texas series and as in book 1, this one at the end leaves you with more questions than answers!

Mia is one bad a$$ woman in this book! She was in the Air Force, she’s a pilot and packed with weapons and the know how to use them! She’s now on her own and chooses what missions she takes and because she’s such an adrenaline junkie she picks the most dangerous people to transport cargo for. Her transportation of cargo almost cost her her life once and luckily she was rescued. Her latest mission has her in a dangerous position, when suddenly she has help. Cullen enters the picture and he’s just as bad a$$ as she is!

Cullen and Mia team up to find Orrin, Cullen’s father, whom they think was taken by the Russians because of a bioweapon. And that situation puts Mia and Cullen in a dangerous predicament and they have to always be on there toes, because they are being hunted! However, what happens when they develop feelings for each other, that neither thought they were capable of? Will that hinder their search for Cullen’s father or will it make their mission successful?

Oh my this was a great book!! LOVED the story and the characters! There was danger around every corner and the sexual chemistry between Cullen and Mia was fireworks worthy! While reading this book I felt as though I was at the theater watching an intense movie…afraid to breathe or blink, on the edge of my seat while mindlessly eating popcorn one kernel at a time and not even realizing I was eating. Yes, it was that good!! Looking so forward to book 3!! – Reviewed by Judy
