Billionaire Caleb Blackstone lives in the glamorous world of wealth and success, with every material luxury. But the moment he sees Brooke Casterley, none of that matters. Caleb is filled with a raw, undeniable need that he can’t ignore…for a girl who is so completely different from everything and everyone he’s ever known.
Only Brooke isn’t looking for love. She knows all too well just how much damage the wrong guy can do. Still, what sane, broke British girl can resist the charms of an incredibly sexy, chivalrous billionaire? What starts as flirtation quickly turns into all-consuming passion. Nothing could have prepared her for the searing heat of Caleb’s touch—or just how much she craves him.
Their whirlwind romance is the stuff of high-society fantasy—but for every moment of pleasure, there is a cost. Past mistakes and tragedy shadow them both…and falling for him might be the kind of trouble she can’t afford.

Review

Caleb Blackstone is one of Boston’s wealthiest. He’s a Blackstone after all. Once he sees Brooke Casterley, no other woman exists to him. It’s only Brooke and he will do whatever it takes to spend time with her.

Brooke has moved back to the island she spent some of her childhood on. After the death of her parents, she went to stay with her Nan who was a maid for the Blackstones. Brooke loves the island and the little cottage her Nan owns. She returns when her Nan needs some help. When working her second job she meets Caleb. That one incident sets everything into motion where he is concerned.

Once Caleb starts spending time with Brooke, he knows he can never let her go. Passion. Love. Devotion. She finds in Caleb how a real man should treat a woman. It’s a way she didn’t even know existed.

This is the first book in the newest series from Raine Miller. There was plenty of steam and a strong connection between Caleb and Brooke. Both characters were well developed. It was a good read. – Reviewed by Michelle Dare
