Never say never . . .
Romance isn't an option for Holly Greenwood. With her wedding planner career on the line she needs to stay focused, and that means pleasing her demanding boss, not getting distracted by her mind-alteringly hot neighbor . . .
Ex-Marine Kevin Vandemeer craves normalcy. Instead, he has a broken-down old house in need of a match and some gasoline, a meddling family, and the uncanny ability to attract the world's craziest women. At least that last one he can fix: he and his buddies have made a pact to swear off women, and this includes his sweetly sexy new neighbor.
After one hot night that looks a whole lot like a disaster in the light of day, Kevin and Holly are about to learn that true love doesn't play by the rules . . .

Review

Holly works her but off as an assistant wedding planner for Nicole who runs her ragged but she needs the money to pay the care for her grandmother with dementia. When her sexy next door neighbor moves into the run down house her sister convinced her to bring him lasagna and she kind of makes a mess of it.
Kevin has sworn off women along with his buddies Matt and Tyler because they are all crazy. After meeting Holly and how weird she acted when she brought over the lasagna he is convinced she is too. After getting off to a bad start they end up one night together and when Kevin comes downstairs to let the kitten go to the bathroom her sister hints that Holly is planning a wedding and Kevin not knowing she is a wedding planner thinks it’s his and hers she was planning after just on night. Kevin goes back home and work without looking back but Holly is all he can think about but would she give him a second chance and to top it off she works for his mother who would fire her if she found out. I could feel for Holly and how she wanted to make everyone happy and how considerate Kevin was to all the women in his life, even his difficult mother. – Reviewed by Linda Rea
