Cinderella never had to deal with this crap.
Jane isn't entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn't she eventually land a prince and a happily-ever-after? Meanwhile, Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and . . . yep, not a prince in sight. Until a party and a broken shoe incident leave Jane wondering if princes---or at least, a certain deliciously hunky billionaire---maybe do exist.
Except Brock Wellington isn't anyone's dream guy. Hell, a prince would never agree to be auctioned off in marriage to the highest bidder. Or act like an arrogant jerk---even if it was just a façade. Now, as Brock is waiting for the auction chopping block, he figures it's karmic retribution that he's tempted by a sexy, sassy woman he can't have. But while they can't have a fairy-tale ending, maybe they can indulge in a little bit of fantasy . .

Review

I just loved this story and all the characters in it from Brock and Jane to the ass and the cock, you would have to read the story to understand but it’s really funny. Jane is a modern day Cinderella with the evil sisters treating her like dirt so when they have her go to a ball with them and they cause her to fall and break her shoe the story really begins. Brock doesn’t want to go to this ball but when he hurried to help a woman up he is struck by Jane’s eyes and he picks her up and takes her to a quiet room. He had his brother go get her a new pair of shoes and when she leaves they both can’t stop thinking about each other.
Jane has always been a people pleaser and Brock has always wanted to say yes to his grandfather so when the grandfather suggests a bachelor auction to help the company Brock wants to protest but he can’t say no to his grandfather. His grandfather dents him to the family ranch for a while to relax and in the meantime hires Jane to clean it too to bottom but neither of them know the other will be there.
This story is funny and sweet with some steam thrown in and Jane and Brock have much more in common than they think. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for this family. – Reviewed by Linda Rea
