I make my living as a hustler, and I'm great at it. I don’t have a single tell and I use that to my advantage to manipulate any situation. I’ve always known what a person is about to do before they’ve even decided.
That is, until I met Penelope. I can’t get a read on her, and what’s worse, she doesn’t want anything to do with me. Which only makes me want her more.
Now I’m in for the hardest hustle of my life. Somehow I have to convince her she belongs with me. Good thing I’m always up for a challenge.

Review

“Hustler” is my first book by Meghan Quinn and Jessica Prince and it won’t be the last!

Gavin is cocky, confident, intelligent, sexy, but also a challenge. He’s grown into a human lie detector by simply watching. Watching for the slightest tell that would lean in his favor as he makes a fortune by playing cards. This sexy beast of a man has everything he could ever want, but for the small fortune he gained, he lost the ability to trust. Walls of steel are placed around his heart, but that doesn’t stop this man from being like every other rich guy. I mean why shouldn’t he? He’s got it, so why not flaunt it?

Penelope (aka Nell) is waitressing, but her dream is to be able to preform under the light in Vegas, but to her dismay no big “yes” has come her way even after all her auditions. Unfortunately for Penelope that isn’t her biggest worry. As she daily talks to her mother and father (who recently injured his back), she’s has to figure out how to earn extra money for her parents. Which means she has to hold her breath when it comes to the high rollers without letting her temper get the best of her.

When these two collide you could say the temperature just went up 100 degrees! Penelope isn’t all impressed with Gavin especially when he puts her job on the line with his games, but Gavin is all to pleased with the new challenge that snagged his eye.

I absolutely loved this story! The chemistry was right on points and Penelope character was a hoot! Her temper was the best weapon she had and I believe that might be enough to disarm our sexy man, Gavin. Gavin is a man built for sin, but we all know that men like him needs a woman that can root him to which our lovely leading lady, Penelope is the right gal for the job! This is duel POV which I feel like increased the excitement.

I highly recommend for a romantic comedy.
