As a reader of the Wicked Lovers series, I’ve been dancing around anticipating Axel’s story and the wait has been worth it.
Wicked for you has delivered in every angle possible in what I’m always looking for in a book that versatile in so many ways. There’s the suspense of the “who’s the killer?, will they capture the heroine of the story, Mystery again?” (yes again, the backstory that tumbles the two characters into a rabbit hole), the contemporary sweet romance of two characters falling in love and finding themselves in one another to heal the broken pieces, to the slight kink of the ultimate alpha Dominant named Axel whom Mystery finds her inner submissive when surrounded by his aura.
As a reader, to be able to give me as a reader everything I’m looking for to keep one on the edge of her seat is thrilling in itself and the added heat of the erotic romance is fuel to the fire. Shayla has delivered the sensual erotic romance with the thrilling suspense that will want the reader craving more. Definite 5 star for myself as I would read this over again just to experience the story again in itself. I’m excited for the next Wicked Lover, but Axel has definitely left it’s mark.
