I found this read to be much like a an evening stroll through Hyde Park. It lacked the urgency to inhale the adventure but allowed a relaxed pace to enjoy the historical romance Cara Elliott has created with Scandalously Yours.
I found many similarities with Olivia and myself. I have no doubt that I too would be a hellion within the time period.With our many odd ideas and radical thinking, I ponder if I could win the heart of the John, Earl of Wrexham or if romance would forever be out of reach…
I must say, all the controversy and flourishing secrets wrap you up tight with curiosities…what will come of the the couple’s budding relationship? Each covert encounter left me anxious of exposure. I was terrified that they would be discovered, discredited and lose it all.
As the story came to the critical point, I knew Olivia’s assistance would sure up any of their wavering beliefs. I swooned in their adventure and felt such peace as the story concluded. I live for happy endings! It was just perfect.
