Brandon left Sophie right after high school without a goodbye and now that he’s back he is hoping for more but a friendship would be ok. Brandon owns a dog rehab center and he is currently working with Haydn a dog whose leg is missing and wears a prosthetic leg.
When Brandon sees Sophie walking toward him he is happy to see her and when he helps her put a package in her trunk, Haydn sat at attention next to it which is a sign for bomb. Brandon gets Sophie and Haydn to safety but they end up in the hospital because Sophie hurt her ankle and Brandon is gonna get to the bottom of it.
Brandon thinks his association with Sophie is the cause of it but more things begin to happen that makes him think there is more too it. Sophie is afraid but more for Brandon and Haydn and her feelings she has had all these years are coming to the surface. I just loved the relationship they have and are so hoping that more will come of it.Great story lots of action and danger! – Reviewed by Linda
