This time, she's calling the shots.
Peggy Clarkson is returning to her alma mater with one goal in mind: confront Elliott Brooks, the man who ruined her for all others, and remind him of what he's been missing. Even after three years, seeing him again is like a punch in the gut, but Peggy's determined to stick to her plan. Maybe then, once she has the upper hand, she'll finally be able to move on.
In the years since Peggy left Cincinnati, Elliott has kept his focus on football. No distractions and no complications. But when Peggy walks back onto his practice field and into his life, he knows she could unravel everything in his carefully controlled world. Because the girl who was hard to forget is now a woman impossible to resist.

Peggy has always wanted Elliot the head coach and so what if he was older than her. He noticed her when she was cheerleading and she noticed him right back the only problem was he was older a widower with a daughter. Well he couldn’t help himself and they carried on for a few years and when college was over he sent her on her way telling her there was no future for them.

When Peggy decides to come back and make him realize what he missed out on, he can’t believe she is back because he hasn’t been while since her. Peggy is just stopping in town to get her revenge and go to New York to help her brother.

You can’t help but love how quirky Peggy is even though she is gorgeous do you don’t expect her to have a brain. Elliot is so stiff and regimented with coaching he fails to see his daughter needs him but Peggy will get him to see that just before she leaves. – Reviewed by Judy

A hockey romance burns up the ice in the third sexy Need You novel from the New York Times bestselling author of the Mastered Series and the Blacktop Cowboys® Series.
PR agent Annika Lund can spin any disaster into a win. But revamping the reputation of a notorious Swedish hockey player will take every trick in her arsenal, especially when his agent insists that convincing everyone he’s no longer a playboy is top priority. And that it requires a sham relationship—with Annika playing the part of loving girlfriend.
On fire in the rink and in the bedroom, Axl Hammerquist couldn’t care less about being anyone’s golden boy. So when his agent forces him to play nice with a new publicist, he takes satisfaction in being as much of a pain as possible. But the more time he spends getting to know Annika, the more Axl starts to think that being Mr. Nice Guy might be worth it if it gets him the girl...

Annika Lund is in charge of the PR department at Lund Industries. She’s known as an Ice Queen. Her mother is Swedish, so Annika also speaks it.

Axl is a hockey player, also known as a playboy and continues to get in trouble. He’s from Sweden (see where this is going?) and lets everyone think he speaks no English, so therefore, needs an interpreter. Because of his “playa” tendencies, he was traded from the Chicago Blackhawks to the Minnesota Wild.

Annika’s mom and her brother’s agent team up together to get Axl on the right road to clean up his reputation. The best way to help him…she’ll pretend to be his girlfriend. What neither counted on was the fireworks and major chemistry between them! Will this pretend relationship turn into a real one?

I loved Annika and her names for Axl (pucktard was my favorite)! He’s such a jerk, but I did fall in love with him! This was a long story and I glazed over at the hockey parts (I’m not a sports fan) but overall it was an enjoyable book! – Reviewed by Judy

Family. Responsibility. Stability.
As the co-CEO of Bayou Enterprises, and the eldest of the Boudreaux clan, Beau is the epitome of these. Now that his baby sister Gabby is happily settled down, Beau has moved into the company loft in the heart of the French Quarter to be closer to his office while his own home is built. He doesn’t have time for anything but the family he adores and the company that drives him.
If only the bewitching owner of the herb shop downstairs from Beau’s loft wasn’t so damn tempting.
Mallory Adams is living the life. The good life. The best life for her. After years of hiding who she is, and the gifts she’s been cursed with, Mallory opened her little shop in the French Quarter, offering herbs and lotions for anything from soothing a sunburn to chasing those pesky ghosts New Orleans is known for out of a client’s home. Some call her eccentric, and some say she’s simply odd, and that’s okay with her. She is a bit odd, but in her experience, all of the best people are.
When an old pipe bursts in the loft above her store, flooding her storeroom, Mallory comes face to face with Beau Boudreaux, and she doesn’t need the clairvoyant abilities that have been passed down through generations to know that she’ll never be the same. Beau is her exact opposite; serious, straitlaced. He wears suits for Pete’s sake and probably wouldn’t know the difference between arnica and flaxseed if his life depended on it. But when he touches her, the electricity is through the roof and she’s smart enough to know that a chemistry like theirs doesn’t happen every day.
Can two people so very different possibly find their way to happily ever after?

I’ve picked up books different books form Kristen Proby because she’s able to write a love story that has a sense of the sweet contemporary love story.

Easy Magic is something I had to have in my hands. The moment I seen that Easy Magic was based in New Orleans, I needed it. Something about the Big Easy and the culture that surrounds the city and in turn hopefully the characters just scream at me.

Beau & Mallory come from such different backgrounds, almost even polar opposite. Which made the story that much sweeter when they meet one another and can not resist the attraction that draws them closer together. There’s a bit of suspense which is great but not to the level where I would say this is a suspense book per say.

With a bit of magic in the town known as the Big Easy, the heat between Beau & Mallory grows and will leave you wanting to continue fanning the flames but don’t worry, Kristen Proby will do it for you as you turn the pages.
