JUST ONE LIE by Kyra Davis was nothing like she has written before, I was hooked following Mercy aka Melody’s story as she grows and moves past the life that she was dealt.
The story in this book is very well written and well developed and the plot is very well thought out and will keep you flipping pages to see where the story heads. The characters in this book are very well written and will keep you guessing till the very end as to whom Mercy will choose. Will she choose Ash, the bad boy from her past or will she choose Brad, the man who lights up her whole life????
The title of this book says it all, JUST ONE LIE, one lie that was told by Mercy aka Melody father that changed the course of her life and her sister. In this book we follow Mercy a few years after he father kicked her out and told everyone that she had died, and we see where her life is now and what she has been through, the things she has been through left me crying and wishing that I could just take her in my arms and make her feel that love that is deserved of any one by their mother/father, no one should have to deal with life without at least oneparent. In this book we see Mercy think she is in love with Ash and while she is dating him, in her first real relationship, she also develops fall over in love feelings for the drummer in her band, Brad. We see Mercy decide that she needs to be alone, no boyfriends, in order to find who she is and move on from what has happened in her past. Will she find herself, will she end up with Ash or Brad, and will she be able to move on and reconnect with her sister after all the years she was left thinking that Mercy aka Melody was dead.
JUST ONE LIE by Kyra Davis was an emotionally moving read
