New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken returns with a smoking-hot story about the satisfaction of plotting revenge on your ex—until he turns your world upside down again.

Austin Rogers’s dreams of domestic bliss involved watching Netflix and eating hot dogs with the love of her life. But then he cheated on her. And dumped her—as if the whole thing was her fault. To maintain her pride and restore her sanity, she decides to get revenge. It feels immensely satisfying to plot her ex’s downfall—but so does kissing him.

Thatch Holloway, a plastic surgeon straight out of residency, knows he ruined the best thing that ever happened to him. But not all cheaters are created equal. He got himself into this messed-up situation—true—but he has his reasons for what happened, and he’d do it all again to protect Austin.

He’s not over her. And she’s not over him.

Austin wants closure, but since Thatch refuses to give it to her, she takes matters into her own hands. She needs to write a human-interest piece for her MBA, so she demands the full plastic-surgery experience. Sparks fly as they’re forced to work together. But Thatch isn’t afraid to play dirty in return. And he’s still hiding something—something that has the power to destroy not only Austin but their second chance at finding forever…

Austin is furious and she wants revenge! She was pretty sure that she and Thatch were a perfect couple till he cheated by kissing Brooke. When Austin decides she will forgive him, Thatch tells her he doesn’t want her and that he needs a woman, not a girl. Austin decides that revenge will be the best thing she does things to Thatch that are so embarrassing everyone knows about it. Thatch is a plastic surgeon so his practice could suffer if she keeps up her revenge but then her professor gives her an assignment that she needs Thatch’s help for.
Thatch had a reason for breaking up with Austin that he can never tell her but the trouble is now he is with her all the time and is slowly killing him. The problems that Austin and Thatch get themselves into is hysterical and sometimes I found myself giggling at the antics. It really a sweet love story and a really fun read. – Reviewed by Linda

And between his pride and his forged signature on an ironclad contract, Max just can't say no.
Now he's stranded in paradise with twenty-four women, one terrifying goat, and Becca, the breathtaking barista who already turned him down back home. The closer Max gets to Becca, the more determined he becomes to win her over. As she gets to know him better, things start heating up. button review

“I love you, I want to make you my wife. I want to have children with you, spend eternity wit you, possibly start a goat farm if you’re cool with it, and totally get a girl gecko for G….” Max to Becca

Max-cute, hot and sexy

Becca-pretty, reserved

As the proverbial saying goes “let the games begin” as Max’s friends set him up to be the upcoming bachelor at just the same moment that he sees the unattainable barista will Max be able to turn his head and heed to the peer pressure of his friends? Will Max take another shot and be able to cinch it with the barista that gives a sparkle to his eyes?

Becca is a woman that is pretty, smart and a knock out in her own right but as the day begins she comes across a man that brings out the sarcastic side of her. As she embarks on a journey that has the hope to forever change her will she take the leap or turn the other cheek and give the man with the sparkle in his eyes a chance?

Max is the bachelor not knowing that Becca will be one of his possible choices in his journey. As he goes along with his friends his mind wanders to the barista that captured his eyes. This journey with each woman is fun but at the same time a bit boring for him as he waits the first date that he never thought he would get with Becca in the outside world. The date is in a few words eye awakening and heart stopping can this be the woman for Max and will Becca’s heart be open to a future of the unknown with him and his goat? (yes you read that right) This is their true journey of love, heartbreak, and teary eyed woman everywhere.

The author brought realism to this book that was entertaining. The book in itself was frustrating at times but in the end it was romantic and sexual. I laughed at times, I wanted to reach into the book to Max’s friends and just say let him be but, knowing that was impossible I had the screaming towel handy that went a long way. Kudos to this author

Happy Reading
