A new beginning...
A fresh start. That's exactly what Ally Shaw needs and what she's found in Glacier Ridge, Montana. Creating a simpler life with her young son and reconnecting with her only remaining family-it's all part of Ally's plan to chase away the pain of her past. But when a dangerously irresistible cowboy rescues her little boy, Ally can't deny she's excited about what else the future might bring.
Reed Malloy was a wild horse who wouldn't be broken. Devoted to his work on the land at the expense of everything else, he'd never met a woman who could hold his interest... until Ally. And now, beautiful Ally and her fearless, freckled child have this cowboy wanting more. This isn't Ally's first time at the rodeo, though, and convincing her to trust him isn't easy. But there isn't anything he won't do to keep her safe... and make her his.

Reed Malloy’s story is book 3 in the Malloys of Montana series. These stories take place in a small town call Glacier Ridge. It’s such a quaint little town where everyone knows everyone and where everyone knows everything…or do they? The way the author has the setting of Glacial Ridge, it’s a town I’d love to call home if it existed!!

Reed is in town one day when a small child with a cape on darts out in the street and Reed snatches him up before he gets hit be a vehicle! He’s ready to chew out the irresponsible person that left him on his own and then he sees her……..Ally. All thoughts vanish from his mind and he’s focused on how beautiful she is and then he quickly remembers what just happened.

Ally has left the city in Virginia to make a fresh start in Montana. Since she only has her uncle she can call family, it’s important to her that Kyle, her son, know his family. However, family member Archer isn’t so glad to have her. He’s very mean to her and Kyle and eventually the reader finds out why he’s so mean. She’s opened a story called Ally’s Attic and while getting ready for opening day Kyle disappears. She runs outside and there he is in the arms of a hot cowboy, who looked very upset with her! Uh oh!

A sweet, emotional and suspenseful story! This could be read as a stand alone, but once you read about Reed’s other hot brothers, you’ll want to read each story! Reed was such a great man, very focused and also very true to his family. Ally was very strong and also very focused in her goal to make it work in this town. They both were so perfect for each other, but each thought they weren’t any good for the other one. Can they meet in the middle and just let love…..just be love? – Reviewed by Judy

________

If you haven’t had a chance to start this series you should, its full of love, danger and a sense of belonging. This story focused on Reed the youngest of the brothers who lost their parents in a snowy night crash. Reed is working on developing cattle free from drugs hormones and such and it’s his life until he goes to town one day and stops a cute red haired boy from getting hit by a car. When he sees his mother he is tempted to scold her but the sight of her frantically looking for her son stops him.
Ally just opened a new shop in town and when four year old Kyle didn’t answer she ran out looking for him. When she sees him being held by a man she is frightened till she sees how he son reacts with awe. Reed and Ally are instantly attracted to each other but Ally doesn’t trust her judgement and Reed has always been focused on cattle. When Ally has a little problem with her uncle Reed steps in to help her get her apartment over the store ready quicker. The trouble with her uncle will not be her only problem and she may not survive it. The Malloy’s welcome her and her son as only they can and they are so close you can’t help but feel good when your done reading it. I just love what a strong woman Ally is and how she wanted a better life for her son. – Reviewed by Linda

As the new doctor in town, Anita is wholeheartedly devoted to her patients. So when a little boy needs her on this snowy night, she doesn't hesitate to care for him and send him home in time to spend Christmas with his family. An evening with a certain sexy cowboy will have to wait-or so she thinks. When a breathless Colin Malloy shows up at her clinic, Anita finds her cold, lonely night quickly heating up. And no crisis or well-meaning relative will stop them from making this a Christmas to remember . . .

Review

I just love this family and this Christmas Eve story just reinforces it. Colin doesn’t want to miss his mom’s Christmas Eve dinner or her special guest Anita Cross. Anita and her uncle are the doctors in town and have now where else to go so the Mallory ranch is picking them up but when an emergency shows up Anita has to stay until the relief doctor shows up. Grace is worried so when Colin volunteers to go get her his mom is happy but he goes in a ditch from the blizzard and has to walk to get there but when he gets there it’s all dark. When Anita finally answers she explains the lights went out and she is afraid so Colin finds the generator and they have lights and heat and lots of company. Anita is a really smart and compassionate doctor and Colin is mature beyond his years and they would be a good match if they stop being interrupted. – Reviewed by Linda Rea

A MALLOYS OF MONTANA NOVELWild Horses Couldn't Drag Him Away From Her
Raised beneath the big Montana sky, Matt Malloy was never meant to be a jet-setting businessman. But he'll do anything to protect the family ranch he shares with his brothers. Coming home after a two-week trip to Italy, Matt wants nothing more than to shed his suit and tie for a well-worn pair of jeans and ride his horse up to the cabin for some alone time. The last thing he needs is a big-city lawyer invading his privacy-even if she is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen . . .
Vanessa Kettering has devoted her life to her work. As a passionate animal rights defender, she doesn't have room for anything else. But from the moment she meets Matt, she's taken with this rugged cowboy's lazy smile and tender touch. When a raging storm traps them inside his cabin for the night, one steamy kiss leads to another, sweeping them away with a force that's as wild and untamed as the land he loves. But when the morning light comes, will she lose her heart?

Review

I loved this story so much I want to move to a ranch in Montana! Matt has taken on being the mom and dad to his brothers after his parents died young in an car crash. He and his brothers and his grandparents, great grandfather, Yancy the cook and the ranch hand Burke all live on this Montana ranch which is so big you could get lost for weeks. Matt has just gotten back from Italy where he was selling the beef that the ranch produces when his Grandma Grace calls to ask him to take an interview with a lawyer from Chicago about wildlife preservation. He figures I am already at my cabin I will have Burke bring the guy here spend an hour and I can go back to my solitude, but what Burke brings is not a guy but a beautiful feisty woman named Vanessa. Well they don’t really see eye to eye but a storm shows up and she is stuck there for the night. During that time Matt is able to explain some of the land and animals to her so when they get back to the ranch she can go home with a better sense of things. Well a knock on the door ends that as the sheriff explains that he has come to take Vanessa to a safe house until her fathers trial is over as the criminal has threatened to do harm to Vanessa if he is found guilty. Matt and his family insists that she will be safer hidden up on this ranch than a safe house and Vanessa agrees. As Vanessa and Matt grow closer so does someone else, can Vanessa’s dad get a conviction and can Matt and his family keep her safe? This story shows how strong and determined people can be and also what a loving family should be like. The story can be read as a standalone but I can’t wait to read what will happen in the next story about Luke. – Reviewed by Linda Rea
