SAM
That long blonde hair, sexy hippy-style, and a laugh that makes me want to fall to my knees and worship her body—Katy Williams is slowly driving me crazy. I moved out to the woods to get away from everything, including women with ulterior motives. But now she’s living next door to me, inviting me for dinner and giving me blueberry muffins. And she’s all I can think about. But can I trust that behind that smile there isn’t a woman just waiting to get her claws into me? After all, I’ve been fooled once before...
KATY
I’m done with men. Well, at least done with men who happily take my money and my heart and suck me dry. Sam Hess, with his man-bun and wild woodsman look, is a whole other matter. I can’t stay away from him, no matter how much I try, and when he needs me, there’s no way I won’t stand by his side. But what happens when he doesn’t need me anymore? I don’t think I can survive having my heart broken again. And they always stop needing you, don’t they?

The Woodsman was an interesting story that had incredible description to the point where I felt I was with the main characters. Alexa Sinclaire presents a hot read, but what I loved most about The Woodsman story was the unexpected turn of events. Emotions start to run high which brought even more depth into the characters as you read further. Each page was a thrill to read. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Sinclaire’s books in the future. – Reviewed by Julianne Knutson

She knew his name. He was always on the late shift at the construction site she walked past every night on the way home from work. Beyond that, he was a mystery. None of that stopped her from inviting him up to her apartment every night and letting him give her the best orgasms she’d ever had. She couldn’t trust herself to give him anything else. And he never asked for more.

He knew it wasn’t right—night after night he walked her home during his break and she always let him have her, anyway he wanted. She never said no, never turned him away, and she brought him apple pie to top it all off. He knew she deserved more but he wasn’t sure he could give it to her.

When disaster hits, can they confess that they both wanted more?

Review

For a short little waiting room read I found this story satisfying and sexy. If you don’t mind reading with a blush on your face in public, then right on. Otherwise I’d read it in the comfort of your own home. Everything needed out of a good book was incorporated into this little slice of a book. We had the sex, the falling in lust/love, and we had a conflict.

Tilda is on the late shift at the diner and walks 6 blocks home late at night. When she stumbles upon a new construction site a white knight saves her from his lewd coworkers. and from there it just turns into more. – Reviewed by Nikki Wooten

Eden Walker used to be a good girl. She followed the rules, obeyed her parents, and reaped the benefits. Until the night one wrong step showed her that all that glitter is not gold. Now she’s starting over, trying to do things on her own terms, and find the passion she’s only dreamt about.
Sebastian Stone never expected to find love. His past is too painful for him to imagine letting someone in enough to love. He’s happy focusing on his security company, and he’s happy with his one-night-stands. Until he bumps into Eden, a blast from his past.
Sebastian makes Eden realize she’s still scared to follow the passion she knows is missing from her life. Eden is the woman for him, but can Sebastian convince Eden to follow her dreams all the way through? Or will circumstances beyond her control pull them apart?

Review

I loved this book! Eden has had a very hard life. With her parents not really being parents and then they don’t believe her when she has gone through a traumatic experience with an almost rape. She has Jouquim to help her through it. She has kept his at arms length because she doesn’t have romantic feelings for him. After her near rape she leaves college and goes to Edinburgh. When there she meets Mara who becomes her best friend. Mara is a firecracker and you can’t help but love her. One night Eden goes out to a club with a group of privileged American students. She has a panic attack and runs into Sebastian. She knows who he is but can’t put her finger on it.

Sebastian has had a troubled life full of pain, sorrow, and abandonment from his father. He never thought he would find love. Then come Eden. Sebastian is definitely a domineering alpha male that wants to protect Eden as much as possbile. He wants what’s best for her and will go out of his way to make that happen.

Eden and Sebastian have a tough start to their relationship but it all ends up a happily ever after. I was so upset with what happened with Jouquim at the end of the book because Eden never deserved what he did to her. Thank god for Seb. If I were Eden I would have gotten rid of her parents at the very beginning. They weren’t parents and don’t deserve a great daughter like her. I want another book to come out with them. I need to know what happens to them in the future! – Reviewed by Katherine DiLauro
