  5. Favorite book as a child? The Black Stallion, by Walter Farley
  6. What do you like on your pizza? Sausage, mushrooms, and onions
  7. How do you take your coffee? 1% milk, light on the sugar. Unless it’s cappucino, in that case let the raw sugar flow!
  8. What’s your favorite holiday or season? Spring, because I love gardening and all the bulbs are just taking off.
  9. Do you have a nickname? “Stretch”. ’Cuz I’m only five-one. It’s an office joke. And I call all the six-foot-six guys “Shorty”
  10. What’s your go to candy choice? Chocolate-caramels
  11. Best advice you ever received? Kiss your husband goodnight every night, even if you are fighting.
  12. Worst advice you ever got? Don’t read too much or it will make you go blind. Seriously. Someone said that to me.
  13. Something you always say? “You got this.” Not that this is a new phrase or anything, but I find that so many people either don’t believe in themselves, or struggle with something to the point where it drives them crazy. All it takes to be supportive of friends and family is to know when to say: “You got this!” And sometimes that’s all they need to hear to go for it. Whatever “it” is.
  14. Name a pet peeve of yours. Toilet seat left up. Absolutely. Working in an office full of men, it happens all the time. Like, every time I walk in there! Of course the guys probably have the same complaint about me leaving the seat down. Oh well. There’s no good solution here for me.
  15. What are you currently reading? Rya Stone’s Caught Up
  16. What was the best gift you ever received? A fishing rod for Christmas. Really. I was seventeen and dating a guy so thoughtful, he wanted to get the perfect gift for a girl who liked to fish. He also gave me a necklace the following year for my birthday. Not bad.

  23. Who’s your author idol? Linda Howard
  24. What would you say to them if you had the chance to meet them? Without a doubt, I would tell Ms. Howard what an amazing job she did writing Tricks (a Golden retriever) into Troublemaker. That dog was awesome! Truly, the dog was a third main character, equal to the hero and heroine for top billing.
  25. Favorite reading genre? Romantic suspense
  26. Least favorite reading genre? I don’t read much in the way of horror stories, although I did like the Amityville Horror.
  27. Favorite board or card game? Monopoly for the board game, Five Card Stud for cards.

  29. How many books have you read? In my entire life? Who knows? Not me. I was always the one in grade school with the tallest stack of books, so hundreds certainly. A thousand???
  30. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Taken “For Sale” signs and moved them to different houses. When I was much, much younger, of course, and during a bachelorette party.
