In the #1 New York Times bestselling Mercy Thompson novels, the coyote shapeshifter has found her voice in the werewolf pack. But when Mercy's bond with the pack and her mate is broken, she'll learn what it truly means to be alone...
Attacked and abducted in her home territory, Mercy finds herself in the clutches of the most powerful vampire in the world, taken as a weapon to use against alpha werewolf Adam and the ruler of the Tri-Cities vampires. In coyote form, Mercy escapes only to find herself without money, without clothing, and alone in the heart of Europe...
Unable to contact Adam and the rest of the pack, Mercy has allies to find and enemies to fight, and she needs to figure out which is which. Ancient powers stir, and Mercy must be her agile best to avoid causing a war between vampires and werewolves, and between werewolves and werewolves. And in the heart of the ancient city of Prague, old ghosts rise...

Review

Mercy has been abducted. Adam can’t reach her through their bond, except to know she’s alive. When she awakes, she knows she must escape. She’s been captured, but in true Mercy form, she finds a way out. Except, she doesn’t know anything about the area she’s in. She must try to contact her pack and figure out a safe place to stay.

Adam is beside himself and can’t wait until he has Mercy in his arms again. He’ll do whatever it takes to get her back, but he needs to be careful in the process. There are very old and powerful vampires involved. He needs to keep a level head. Luckily, he brought a group of people with him to help.

This book is definitely full of action, as are the other books in the series. I wish we would have gotten more of the romance between Mercy and Adam, but I’m a sucker for that stuff. Silence Fallen was a good read. I’m glad we got different POVs and also we were able to have more of the secondary characters, which have made appearances in previous books. I do love Stefan. If you’re a Mercy Thompson fan, definitely pick this up! – Reviewed by Michelle Dare
